Soon we’ll leave this

house of hummingbird

sage and Meyer lemon

blossoms, the dusk flight

of wild green parrots.

How nice the sound

of your hand gently

to my door, the care

with which you take to wake or not

wake us, your smile in

the morning has made

this house the home it

stands, both bold

and humble. Yours is

a place of wonder and

its dwellers are

in awe of you:

beautiful, gracious

woman, the weight of

one hundred  hearts in

your chest.

The warmth you bring  to

any room, golden Leo,

stays there, light

is around you, everyone

can feel it. Each day is

one to celebrate

your life, sweet

Smootie, thank you for

the things  you share,

thank you  for being

here.
